About Us
Gayatri Consciousness Center has been established in Texas under the auspices of All World Gayatri Pariwar, with headquarters in Shantikunj, Haridwar. The primary focus of Gayatri Pariwar is to foster spirituality in mankind by encouraging the practice of simple and practical steps in everyday life.
It proposes a three-pronged approach to achieve this - Upasana (power of Prayers), Sadhana (self-refinement through self-inquiry and discipline), and Aradhana (selfless service to humanity). Gayatri Consciousness Center, also known as Gayatri Chetna Center, aims to provide a unique environment to facilitate activities and services which will help inculcate positive thoughts and spiritual mindset in it's devotees.
Our Patron Founders
A sage, a visionary, and a reformer, Shri Ram Sharma Acharya initiated Yug Nirman Yojna - a movement for mass transformation. He lived a disciplined life of devout austerity, visited the Himalayas several times and attained spiritual eminence.
It is time that we awaken, change our attitude and expand our sensitivities to the changing times by transforming our thoughts. Thought provoking - life transforming literature has been the basis of this mission initiated for transformation of era.
