Community Service

At our core, we think that community service is more than simply a duty; it is a joyful experience that strengthens the fabric of our communities. By devoting our time, skills, and resources, we have a positive and long-term influence on our communities. Our community service efforts, whether they be organizing a food bank, neighborhood cleanups, or sponsoring educational projects, help to build healthier, more connected communities. Funeral Services

We provide complimentary funeral services to anyone who requests one

It is our firm belief that funeral services are a right and we provide them as a community service without charge.

Food Drives

We work closely with other non-profit organizations such as Sewa and Sneh Hastham to actively participate in family service programs such as Food Drives done during the current pandemic, and generating cash donations to assist families in distress.

We donated thousands of pounds of food and thousands of dollars to Sewa International's Houston Branch during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Feeding the Homeless

By providing monthly hot meals and groceries for "Street Friends of Katy", in support of the efforts of Hope Impact of Katy, a non-profit organization which strives to feed the Katy's Homeless and get them back on their feet.

Environmental Awareness

We promote and teach the principles of Reduce, Reuse Recycle. We train all members to refuse the use of Styrofoam, instead using stainless steel dinnerware for all our weekly Sunday meals served to all members of the congregation and reuse those stainless steel plates every week hand washing them after each use.

At our center, we have promoted tremendous change by eliminating the use of Styrofoam products and using stainless steel utensils and plates instead.

Assisting Families in Distress

Without any discrimination, If any distressed family approaches us with a request for aid, we try our best to help them out with anything we can, including collecting donations for them, among other things.
